The  potential exists for a significant sever weather event on Tuesday with damaging wind and tornadoes the primary threats especially during the most dangerous time during the evening and overnight hours.  Storms are expected to develop across Central and Eastern Oklahoma into North Central and North Eastern Texas early Tuesday and shift East and North East during the day. Embedded supercell and bowing segments pose the risk for damaging wind and tornadoes. The tornado threat may increase overnight in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Be sure to listen to NWS local warnings and take them seriously.
